Code: TRCW06 | Chile's premier wine appellation, Curico Valley, is located in the midst of a breathtaking landscape structured into three areas; the great Andes Mountain range, the central plateau where most of the vineyards are located, and its coastal valleys that meet up to the Pacific Ocean. The main city of Curico is a "must see," as the historic museum features artifacts of the elusive Inca people. It also hosts the Harvest Festival in March, where the first presented wine is blessed and the Festival Queen's prize is her own weight in wine. Why not go and compete for the crown! Tacora is a delicious wine with a bright blonde color with hints of apple green. The aromas carry notes of vanilla and tropical fruit while the flavors are a seamless blend of pineapple and hazelnut. The oak aging will lend its toasty, well-rounded flavors to creamy cheeses and chicken entrees. | ||
