After a long fermentation on the skins, the wine was kept in oak barrels for 6 months before bottling. This luscious red wine has ripe, spicy aromas and fine sour cherry flavors. It is an excellent accompaniment to spicy foods such as Hungarian Goulash or similar hearty stews. | ||

Code: KEKN05 | Kekfrankos, or Blaufrankisch as it is known in Austria, is often mistaken for the Gamay grape, as both have similar grape structure and leaves. Kekfrankos proves distinguishes itself by having a naturally dark color and stronger tannins, resulting in a wine of greater depth and body. Aromatic with scents of ripe strawberries and a touch of vanilla from 6 months oak aging, this exotic red offers a velvety finish that begs to be drunk with roasts accentuated with garlic. | ||
