Code: FBG04    Farmer's Market Grenache is the brainchild of Simon Adams. Adams, known as a 'flying winemaker,' has been traveling all over the world for 20 years consulting on wine projects while forming relationships and contracts to create his own wines. In Barossa Valley, Australia's most famous and prestigious wine region, Simon has selected some of the most outstanding Grenache fruit every produced for his Farmer's Market label. Perfectly ripe berries were gently crushed to create a darkly colored wine with sensual aromas of mocha and spice. The palate is richly flavored with mouthwatering cherries, plums and sweet dark chocolate culminating in a velvety finish of well structured tannin and a touch of spice. Truly an amazing wine.

Code: NMS05    Too often we see over ripe and alcoholic Shiraz from Australia that could be labeled as Port were it to come from Portugal. Neil McGuigan has successfully used perfectly balanced grapes while keeping the alcohol at a modest 13.5% to craft this rich and powerful wine. Offering intense cassis and vanilla on the nose and an extremely concentrated palate of black fruits and velvety tannins backed up with a fine oak finish, this is a classic Australian Shiraz which we personally scored 94-96, it will age effortlessly, but who could resist it now?

                   Southeastern Australia

Code: LRMW03    South Australia's vineyards are clustered along the coastal boundaries of the Indian Ocean in this southern regional escape from the wild outback. This cutting edge Merlot reinvents the grape's reputation, which previously were only used as blending agents with Cabernet Sauvignon. But, through years of advancement and proliferation of modern viticultural techniques in Australia, the Merlot grape has taken on a much larger role and proven its staying power as a wine that can stand on its own. Its soft, enjoyable character is epitomized in this 2003 Lismore Range which offers a complex bouquet of black cherries and scrumptious fruitcake. It holds a sophisticated palate with earthy nuances and refined velvety tannins, which makes it a spectacularly quaffable wine with pasta and hard cheeses, such as parmesan.
